How we work?
Tremend uses a software development methodology similar to the Rational Unified Process. This includes
practices like developing
software in iterations, visual modelling or focus on component-based architectures.
Our experience includes most commonly used methodologies for software development that can be used on client
specific request:
- Waterfall Methodology
- Flavors of Agile Software Development (Extreme Programming, Scrum)
Our Preferred Tools
- XPlanner for XP based projects with iteration tracking done with custom Excel spreadsheets. Main
purpose is to keep the
customer involved in the development process. XPlanner burndown charts give an exact image of the team
activities at any point in time.
- Bugzilla, ProjectTraq for bug and feature tracking
- Wiki system for internal documentation
- Subversion for source code management
Choosing an iterative approach, we allow the client to monitor the progress of our work. Progress reports and
deliverables are provided at agreed intervals, giving the client an overall control on the outsourcing process.
For each project a project manager is assigned who is available for direct communications via phone, e-mail
and IM during the project life-cycle.
